But here’s the thing. The wild hens party days are, yes, full on fun and far from over, but more and more brides these days are opting for non-drinking activities to kick the festivities off. Wait? Non-drinking activities on a hens weekend? I don’t believe it.
I was scrolling on Hidden Gems when I found a Hens party section. Let me just say that again….THERE IS A WHOLE SECTION DEDICATED TO HENS PARTIES! Much better.
I am so sure that you’ve all heard of flower crown making as a kick off activity. What more of a fab way to start the day then by making yourself a crown to wear. We’re all queen’s so I think we all deserve a crown. There is a great place in Bathurst called Ivory Rose Botanicals who cater for HENS PARTIES. Winner ,winner!

But once we’ve got a crown, then what? Or what if I have seriously annoying hay fever and can’t deal with fresh flowers sitting on my head? Here’s where the genius comes in.
How unique is this? - There is a place in Orange called The Lip Lab where you and your pals can go to make your very own lipstick! If you’re thinking this is something you would like to do then be sure to book in advance so they are able to host your whole group. Now, I know I said these were non- drinking activities, but wouldn’t it be fun to sip a few while creating the perfect shade?
If you didn’t have a drink while making your crown and lippy now is the time to put both on and head out for one. Grab your party pals and have yourself a great time!
