This blog is going to focus on promoting wedding suppliers and venues in rural and regional New South Wales- that’s the aim anyway.
Hi, G’day, How’s it going? My name is Georgie and welcome to The Rural Bride. If at times I use far too many commas or my general gramma isn’t making sense please forgive me, look past it, and thank the universe for not making me a teacher. I am by no means a journalist or literary master, I studied Business at university.
So, who am I?
I’m Georgie. I’m a 23 year old girl living in the country. I went to school at a girls boarding school in Tamworth and went to uni in Armidale. I graduated at the start of this year and have since been working on a cattle station in the Gulf (my second gap year). At the end of the dry season I am moving home to North West NSW to focus on my wedding and event coordination business.
I’ve chosen to write my blog posts in conversational language because, let’s face it, no one wants to read an essay on the latest and greatest wedding caterer when they can read a post that sounds like conversation that would actually happen. This is blog is written by a real person living in the country and I’m only going to write about QUALITY suppliers and venues that will be of use to my rural based brides. This is not going to be or become a corporate mess with a hidden agenda.
I’m writing this blog to help any future brides in the process of planning their wedding. I know many of you struggle to find what you’re looking for because you think it’s not actually available in the country. I’m here to find what you’re looking for and tell you about it.
If you are having trouble finding a supplier or venue in your area please head to the contact page and send me an email. I would LOVE to help.
